 Tyrant Excel
The monstrous 42" x 72" solid steel backboard dominates this playground
standard and provides maximum rebound opportunities for an exceptional level of
play potential in a professional style on this regulation sized surface.
Supported by the Tyrant pole system of a 6 5/8" massive galvanized steel pole
with a full 72" overhang, the Tyrant Excel is the ultimate standard in
playground equipment. An unbreakable fixed goal is of uncompromising quality and
is bolted directly to the rigid steel post for the utmost backboard protection.
Additional support is provided by two steel bars that bolt the top of the
backboard directly to the frame. The goal is welded from two 5/8" high strength
steel rings and a net lock system of punched slots designed to take either a
nylon or steel net. This netlock system is considered to be superior to the wire
formed netlocks, making it ideal for the high quality of the Tyrant Excel
