A Game for Kyle
When something happens to someone in our town everyone knows about it. Sometimes
that can be bad, but sometimes it is a good thing. When the son of our local
grocery store owner became ill and was hospitalized the whole town came together
to help out the family. People were baking food, bringing in clothes and
offering help in the store. The basketball team decided that we would do
something, too.
We held a game dedicated to Kyle, the grocery’s son. The money raised would go
directly to his family to help with medical bills and any other needs. We were
able to raise almost $2000 that night. It was amazing. Kyle’s mom cried and his
dad was overcome at the generosity of the town.
Little Kyle got better and he is now playing for the high school basketball team
himself, but nobody will ever forget how our town came together to help out in a
time of need.
The Ruffneck III features a galvanized steel pole with a 36” x 54” acrylic
backboard. The heavy duty flex goal adds to the durability of this product. The
rim is direct mounted and the backboard is supported by two braces for added
